I am a born & bred South Carolinian- Born in Charleston, raised in Lexington, South Carolina. I was literally raised in multiple Tire Shops my
Uncle owned, kind of similar to the one John and I have now nested into! I was first introduced to the industry by my dad, who has been in this business for over 35 years. Growing up, I got to learn so much that I began to like it. As I got older, working in the shop was my way to earn spending money. I have done everything from the “Tire Counter”, “Tire Puller”, “Tire Seller”, “Tire Installer”, Assistant Manager, Service Manager, to now I’m a little mixture of it all (& a little more- if ya ask me). While working with my dad, I learned that I loved the fact that I got to know our customers. A lot of them became like family! My dad had been taking care of them and their family for years prior **- so I had pretty big shoes to fill. However, I’ve been taught to treat others the way I want to be treated- Which is something I practiced there, and now we practice here everyday. Honesty and transparency is something we pride ourselves on, and in this industry unfortunately, it’s not that easy to come by. So we decided to create an environment where we could offer it ourselves, without compromising safety for convenience.

John, Owner & Operator

John has worked in every position imaginable in this industry. Everything from being a general tech in his teenage years- working his way from Tech to Service Manager, from Service Manager to General Manager, until the most recent past 3 years being a Regional Manager handling up to 30 different locations, at a major corporate company. As a Regional Manager, John’s role in the company included ensuring the shops were running with in the predetermined margins set by his superiors, maintaining the management team that was on site at each of these locations daily, training each and every new employee that was hired within his region on the companies standards, policies, procedures, and customer service expectations. It was in this role he learned customer service becomes lost upon larger, corporately operated companies. His previous position obligations also included moving from New Jersey where he was born and rasied with all of his family and friends, all the way to a very hot & sunny Summerville, South Carolina! This is how we found our home here in Cane Bay Plantation! After meeting so many new and friendly faces in a brand new location- the transition didn’t feel as if home was left in New Jersey, but more so like theres home everywhere we looked! After many years of working with and for others in this industry he finally decided it was time to take the leap-and go back to where we both started- Family owned. Except this time, rather than work for someone else’s family- we made it with our own.
